Why are Arizon Buildings green?

Energy Efficiency

Arizon’s Johnson Air Rotation® Systems reduce energy costs by at least 50% over conventional systems.   If you compare our systems to competitors, our in-house manufactured custom systems are seven times more efficient (cost seven times less to run) than prebuilt, stock units purchased by all of our competitors.

Additionally, due to the translucency and reflective qualities of the proprietary UL-rated fabric that we use for our buildings, the need for daytime lighting can be highly reduced or eliminated. Finally, we install highly efficient metal halide lights for the times when lighting is needed.

Low Carbon Footprint

Think of all of the aspects of a long, brick and mortar conventional building process.  Hundreds of workers (and fuel to get to a job site), lots of heavy-duty equipment (and its energy costs), and tons and tons of raw materials—stone, wood, and glass.

On the other hand, Arizon Buildings have comparably low carbon footprints.  Site preparation and construction takes a short time.  Our structures, inflation, heating, and cooling systems are all built in the United States.  Typically, just a few trailers’ worth of building materials are all that is needed to build your next open span structure.

Finally, Arizon largely uses renewable materials for our structures.  Fabric is made from recycled materials.

Durability and Limited Replacement

If your air structure is low quality—or if your inflation system or air conditioning units require replacement after just a decade—the environmental (and cost!) impact of buying new systems is significant.  Arizon makes both the best structures and the best inflation, heating, and cooling systems in the industry.  Arizon Buildings are built to last 20-40 years.  Likewise, components of our buildings are also designed to last for long periods of time–unlike many of our competitors’ systems (which we frequently are contracted to replace after just 5-7 years!)  To back our claims, we offer an industry leading warranty.
